Every nation has its sacred symbols, personifying his honor and pride. One of them is the national flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The law "On the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted November 18, 1991. It stipulates that the national flag is a symbol of national sovereignty.
   The national flag of Uzbekistan waving during official visits of delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan to foreign states, at the entrance to the embassy of our country abroad, and representation in international organizations and at international forums and conferences, sports competitions. This sacred symbol as the personification of reigning in Uzbekistan peace and tranquility proudly fluttering on government buildings, residences, businesses and organizations, and educational institutions.
   The flag of our country that is based on historical values and symbolizes our past, present and future represents a great national power, high intellect and willpower that we have imbibed with mother's milk, its lullabies and instruction great ancestors.
